A monument sign sits low to the ground on a base, while a pylon (or pole) sign is elevated for visibility from a distance or the highway. We build both, sized to your site, setback, and zoning.
Do ground signs need a permit in Michigan? +
Almost always. Freestanding signs are among the most regulated, with rules on size, height, setback, and lighting that vary by municipality. We handle the permit process and build to code for you.
How are monument signs built to last through Michigan winters? +
We use aluminum and other weather-rated materials on properly engineered footings with sealed electrical, so freeze-thaw, road salt, and sun do not degrade the sign.
